Lala Fazlur Rehman visits Malir, Shah Faisal, Gulberg, Liaquatabad and Gulshan-e-Iqbl Town

Administrator Karachi Fazlur Rehman has said that the repairing and carpeting of roads and streets with installation of lights and repairing of water and sewerage lines was underway in different areas of city and these works will be completed before the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi(saw).

During a visit of Malir, Shah Faisal, Gulberg, Liaquatabad and Gulshan-e-Iqbl Town on Tuesday where he was accompanied by EDO Works & Services Rasheed Mughal, EDO Municipal Services Masood Alam, concerned town administrator and other city government officers he also issued on the spot directives for immediate start of work.

On the visit of Malir, Adminstrator Karachi directed to start immediate construction and patch working of ten streets of Sabir Colony. He also instructed EDO Transport to construct a pedestrian bridge at main road in front of Malir-Khokhrapar School to facilitate the people especially the students.

On this occasion, Moulana Azhar Qadri informed him about the difficulties in holding of procession and religious meetings on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi(saw). Administrator Karachi on this, directed KWSB to solve the water and sewerage problems of the area before the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Adminstrator Malir Town Mukhtar Palijo informed that the town had performed CC Flooring of 6 streets along with other small works.

Gulberg Town Administrator Latif Lodhi told Administrator Karachi that all arrangements regarding Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi(saw) were already completed and the town administration had been in contact with all ulema-e-karam.

During the visit of Liaquatbad Town, Administrator Karachi directed to repair the road and footpath at Liaquatabad No.10. He also instructed to complete the sanitation work, repairing and patch working of all roads and streets around Faizan-e-Madina so that the citizens especially the participants of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi(saw) meetings and processions should not have to face any difficulty during Rabi-u-Awwal.
