KARACHI: Intelligence agencies have detained three men in Karachi over their alleged involvement with Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving gunman of the November 2008 Mumbai attacks. A source privy to the matter disclosed that intelligence agencies had taken the men into custody from different areas of Karachi in connection with their alleged affiliation with Kasab.
They were reportedly taken to Islamabad and an investigation was in progress. The relevant officials refused to comment when contacted. The source claimed the arrests were made by the Federal Investigation Agency in collaboration with other intelligence agencies. (Daily Times)
