National Courier’s Chief Reporter wins ‘best journalist’ award

The prominent International Arts and Cultural Organization’s Chairman Anees Pasha said that the importance and beneficence of newsprint media can never be diminished. He said journalism is popularly considered as fourth pillar of the state and backbone of the society.
He expressed these viewpoints in annual function of IACO Pakistan which honored distinguished persons with “Pride of Performance” awards in different categories of all walks of life.
On this occasion, in the journalism category, the IACO announced Dr. Syed Jafar Abbas Jafri, Chief Reporter of National Courier newspaper, deserved the title of best journalist and honored him with bestowing of the “Pride of Performance” award for year 2009.
In this function, the “Pride of Performance” awards in different categories were also bestowed on other persons also who demonstrated best performance and excellence in different fields of work including Syed Sajid Akhtar, Azhar Hussain, Nehal malik, Faraz Ansari, Rizwan Malik, Haqparast MPA Syed Raza Haidar and Manzar Imam, Noman Badar Farooqui, Aurganzeb Shahzad, Tanveer ahmad Syed, Shahid Kareem, Javed Rasool Jaohar, Master Siddiq, Hasham Raza Qadri, Shakeel Jabalpuri and Amjad Rana.
