As a part of their ‘Safety from COVID-19 on self-help basis’ project, the Serving Hands Organization distributed equipment among doctors, nurses and paramedical staff in the emergencies of the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases (KIHD), both government-run facilities, on May 8.
According to the details shared by the organizers, it was the seventh such camp to be held recently in which the safety equipment for medical practitioners was provided free of cost. The precautionary kits included face masks, gloves and sanitizers.
Paying tribute to the medical and nursing staff for their sacrifices and fortitude, the top officials of the Service Hands Organization hailed them as the frontline soldiers in the war against COVID-19 and pledged to continue playing their role in contributing their bit for serving the humanity.
