Pakistan has signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with a couple of Chinese companies for the purpose of generating 700 megawatts of solar energy.
According to the Advisor on Trade Abdul Abdul Razzab Dawood, the MoUs were signed with Power China and FIEDM for generating 700 megawatts of solar energy to be used in M-3 Industrial City and Allama Iqbal industrial City.
Speaking at the signing ceremony the Advisor said that Special Economic Zones and industrial growth in the country will be promoted through the CPEC projects.
He announced that the government was making every effort to ensure uninterrupted provision of electricity for industries.
